Folders In The Filing Cabinet
A folder is where documents are stored. Opening a folder reveals a document list and
options for documents. A new folder without stored documents only contains the option to upload documents.
The following options are available by click on the buttons on the navigation
bar in a Folder that has stored documents:
There are also other actions that are available by clicking on the
icons to the right of the file name.
Uploading A Document
Upload is copying a document from your computer to your account. You can upload any
type of file into a folder in the .
- Click on Filing Cabinet. A list of folders appears.
- Click on the folder to which you wish to upload a file.
- Click
button. A Choose File browse window appears.

- Click Browse. A choose file window will appear that allows you to locate the file on your computer
and click open. Your account browse/upload window reappears.
- Click Upload. The file will be copied to your account.. When the transfer
is complete the file will appear in the file list in your folder.

Moving A Document
Move a document transfers a file from the Inbox to a folder in the Filing Cabinet.
- Select a document(s) in the Inbox by clicking on the box located to the left of the
file name.
- Click the Move button located at the bottom of the document list. The “Move
Selected Document to:” window appears.
- Select a folder by clicking the arrow on the scroll window. The list of folders appears. If no folders exist, you must create a new folder in the Filing Cabinet.
- Highlight the folder.
- Click the Move button that is located on the toolbar .
View a Document
View will open a fax viewer window that allows you to:
- View
- Print
- Download (copy
a document to your computer)
- Crop and Save a part of this document. This is part of the
digitized signature feature
- Add an image for your digital image library. This is part of the
digitized signature feature
You can select more than 1 document to view
- Login to your account by entering your username and password. Click on the Fax
Inbox link on the left to open the Fax Inbox. The Fax Inbox is the default startup
folder.
A new fax has a generated file name. All incoming faxes are converted to .PDF
or .TIF file format depending upon your preferences setting. Faxes can be renamed and organized by using the Rename and Move functions.
- Click on the checkbox next to the name of the fax.
- Click the View button located at the top of the Viewer.
- The document is opened within your account Viewer. The Viewer will launch
the document native application to view the document. For example, PDF file
formats use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the document.

There are two sets of controls (feature buttons) available with the Viewer,
viewer
controls and the native application controls. The viewer controls are located at
the top of the Viewer and allow you to:
- Print – Print the document to a printer attached to your computer
- Download – Copy the document to your computer
- Next (available with multiple document viewing)
- Previous (available with multiple document viewing)
The controls that appear within the Viewer frame above the document vary with the
file format of the document with the viewer. These controls are the native application
and not controlled by your account viewer.
- To close the viewer, click Close Window.
You can also open the document in the viewer by clicking on the name of
the document. You can open the document outside of the viewer by clicking
on the download icon to the right of the file name.
Delete Files In A Folder
- Click on a folder name.
- Select a file(s) by clicking on the box located to the left of the file name.
- Click the Delete Files button located above the document list.
You are not able to delete the Email Link Files or Digital Image
Library folders. They are system folders needed by your account.
Refresh List in a folder
Manually refresh the document list in a folder. The document list is automatically
refreshed every time you open this web page.
- Click on a folder name.
- While working in a folder, click the Refresh List button locate above the
document list. The page will reload and view the latest documents.
